3rd Annual Art & Craft Festival

The Fuzzy Pineapple will host the 3rd Annual Art and Craft Festival on Saturday, Oct 7, 2017 at 1209 Paul Russell Road from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. The event will feature a variety of artists from near and far showcasing their best original wares for sale as well as live entertainment to include singers, dancers, poets, musicians, etc. Numerous art contests allow artists and festival patrons chances to win cash prizes. Admission is FREE to this family friendly event and pets are welcome.
"This event caters to art lovers, foodies, pet lovers, family, and friends. There is something for everyone," Dennard assures, "activity booths to keep little ones occupied while parents shop. The teens can meet with entrepreneurs their own age while looking for clues in the scavenger hunt. College students can network and chow down on tasty eats. Dad can rock out with the band onstage. Grandparents can walk their favorite pets as they speak with the artists."
Vendors will be showcasing their most innovative, original work. Some of the shopping choices include handmade soaps, jewelry, natural make-up, clothing, art work, books and more! Attendees will receive a helpful festival book guide that will include festival information, a place to keep notes, the festival map, and a list of the vendors, sponsors and entertainers. There will also be a fashion show and body art show. Come out and show your support by shopping small and encouraging the artists to continue their work!
The Fuzzy Pineapple encourages festival patrons to wear pineapple theme outfits and costumes. There is a $500 cash prize to the individual, group, or organization who brings the most people to the event. Patrons can use the hashtag #TFPFEST to keep in touch and stay in the know. Students are eligible to apply for sponsorship with a free booth to sell their creations. There are multiple fun opportunities to earn volunteer hours through the event.
"The purpose of this festival is to bring awareness to the public of the many diverse, independent artists
located here. It is our mission to help these artists generate enough buzz to propel them into their next level of artistic and economic growth."
